Autism Evaluations

The more we understand ourselves, the more gently we can live.

Why Seek an Autism Evaluation with Me?

For self-understanding:
You may have always felt that certain things are harder for you, and you are looking for clarity and insight.

For those who feel overlooked:
Many adults—especially women and those who have learned to mask—wonder if they were missed or misdiagnosed earlier in life. Together we will explore how your experiences and strengths fit into the bigger picture.

For therapy or treatment planning:
An evaluation can help you and your therapist or other providers understand what kinds of support will truly meet your needs.

For validation and relief:
Sometimes putting a name to your experiences brings relief. Other times, understanding your unique strengths and challenges can be just as empowering.

For relationships and family life:
Exploring how your brain works can help you navigate relationships and build a more self-compassionate, supportive environment.

What Sets This Process Apart

Quick and efficient
You will be offered an appointment within one week, and the evaluation is usually completed within two weeks. You will receive a written report (typically 3–5 pages) summarizing findings, recommendations, and next steps.

Therapeutically integrated
These evaluations are not only about forms and checklists—they are about understanding and growth. Because I bring a therapist’s perspective, the process feels collaborative and supportive. You will have time to reflect, ask questions, and process what you are learning.

Neurodiversity-affirming
I do not see autism as a flaw, but as one meaningful way of being. My evaluations honor your strengths, needs, and identity, whether or not neurodivergence is the explanation for your experiences.

Specialized
I hold certifications in Autism and am trained in the use of multiple autism assessment tools, including the Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum and the Autism Diagnostic Interview. I have nearly fifteen years of experience in therapy and diagnostic evaluations, and I trained for close to a decade under a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist. My approach is comprehensive, strengths-based, and grounded in clinical experience.
